Description 1975 Greco LJ-600 LP Special Style Single Cut Wine Red (w/ HSC) Only made for a single year (that’s right, 1975) in the Matsumoku factory in Japan, the LJ-600 is another rare offering from Greco that is only catalogued for one year and then disappeared from existence! No serial numbers or stamps, this model is very elusive and is an exceptional guitar in every way. Everything about this guitar is very Gibson; set neck mahogany construction, rounded edges, soapbar P90s and lightning wraparound, Greco did a fantastic job of cloning one of the best electric guitars ever offered by Gibson. The mahogany neck has a beautiful slim-taper style 60s Gibson style neck profile and feels amazing in the hands. The 42mm nut width is not too thick and not too thin but allows for a wide range of hand sizes to get around this neck very comfortably. The two soapbar P90s are very thick sounding and bass heavy, this guitar responds really well to high gain and distorted tones to help bring out more top end, but are more than capable of playing a wide variety of sonic styles. Just professionally serviced and setup with 10-46s, this LJ-600 has had a full level, crown and polish of the frets and is playing very nicely indeed. It remains all original aside from a replaced neck P90 cover and mounting screws, and a brand new lightning wraparound bridge (the warped original is included in the sale). The guitar has plenty of wear and tear but is free from any cracks, breaks or structural issues. Comes with a non-original hard shell case!
